Minimum eligibility requirements for QIP assessors:

• Australian resident with the right to work in Australia
• A minimum of five years full time equivalent experience in relevant health and human services sector(s)
• Relevant professional memberships or registrations if applicable (e.g. AHPRA, APNA, AAPM)
• Relevant national, state or territory:
  • Working with Children OR
  • Working with Vulnerable People check, and
  • Police Check
• Previous accountabilities or positions held within relevant industries
• Achieved a standard of education, formal or cumulative equivalent
• Demonstrable technical and/or operational knowledge

Eligibility Criteria for retirement village Assessors:

• Minimum of five years’ experience within the Australian retirement village sector, clinical or non-clinical experience
• Relevant professional memberships or registrations, if applicable
• Relevant national, state or territory:
  • Working with Children OR
  • Working with Vulnerable People check, and
  • Police Check
• Previous accountabilities or positions held within relevant industry
• Achieved a standard of education, formal or cumulative equivalent
• Demonstrable technical and/or operational knowledge, and
• Compliance with any regulatory body requirements or professional bodies applicable to the area of operation.

NDIS

As an approved quality auditor under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission), QIP’s role is to assess services against the NDIS Practice Standards and to make recommendations about their suitability to be a registered NDIS provider based on how they demonstrate the equality and safeguarding of their services.

Our Auditing Services Team requires the services of suitably qualified contract auditors already approved to audit the NDIS scheme to audit our diverse range of disability service clients.

Successful candidate must possess:

• Current ISO 19011 equivalent auditor qualifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A strong background with the NDIS
• A technical understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards
• The ability to work individually on audits and as a member of a team
• The ability to conduct audits on behalf of QIP to maintain our high standard of delivery
• Qualifications relating to the NDIS, and/or higher education qualifications in community, psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology, nursing, social or health sciences preferable
• Significant auditing experience involving organisations providing disability services
• Insurances including professional indemnity and public liability.
